What Is LSS®?
The Logistics Standards System (LSS®) is a comprehensive assessment and benchmarking system designed to ensure quality, traceability, and sustainability across warehousing and transportation processes.
By benchmarking warehouse and logistics operational performance against industry standards and best practices, LSS® aims to identify improvement areas, reduce costs, increase efficiency, and raise service levels.
Developed by LODER and SBG, the system is structured based on sector needs.
LSS® is not only for logistics service providers. It is also applicable to many players that manage their own logistics operations—such as manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and e-commerce companies.
In other words, whether you are a 3PL provider or manage an in-house warehouse at a production facility, LSS® helps align your operations with logistics standards.
Why Choose LSS®?
LSS® is a powerful tool to increase efficiency in warehousing and logistics processes, reduce operational risks, and strengthen corporate reputation. It supports not only today’s operations but also provides a foundation for future growth goals.
✔️ Process control through a standards-based structure

✔️ Increased stakeholder trust through traceability and transparency
✔️ Enhanced corporate visibility and industry prestige
How Does the LSS® Rating System Work?
LSS® offers a structure that can be applied flexibly across different logistics activity areas, while still operating within a single evaluation framework. A common rating structure is used for all operation types, including:
-
Warehousing
-
Road/rail transportation
-
Waterway transportation
-
Air transportation
-
Value-added services
The evaluation process is based on:
-
Requirements of the relevant standards, and
-
Defined Key Success (performance) Indicators
Each criteria’s contribution to the overall score is calculated using weightings based on its importance. This ensures LSS® not only checks existing practices, but also measures performance.
As a result, the scores collected across an organization’s activities are evaluated according to the weight of each area, and an overall rating level is determined.
